  Your participation in any Corky Hyatt Seminars course (defined as your completion of the course materials and/or payment of course fees demonstrates that you agree with this ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT CONTRACT and that this ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT CONTRACT begins on the date and at the time you begin your course. At the commencement of any course, the student acknowledges that he or she has read this ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT CONTRACT and has the opportunity to receive a copy by printing this document from this web site. No minor may participate in any course offered by Corky Hyatt Seminars without written authorization of his or her legal representative.   • All required course materials are provided on this site except that some courses require the student to search the internet for additional information not provided on this site. In the case of online courses facilitated by C E Band through contract with Corky Hyatt Seminars, those course materials will be available to the student via link from this site to the C E Band site. In the event that the link provided on this site is not functioning for any reason, the student may go to www.ceband.com to access the course directly. There are no additional charges for any course materials unless a sponsoring individual, firm, board, or association contracts with Corky Hyatt Seminars to provide customized materials for which there will be a fee charged to the ordering individual, firm, board, or association.
  
  • The total tuition for each course is listed in the course description and is payable by business or personal check or by Visa or MasterCard through www.paypal.com for home study courses on this site or by credit card through C E Band for online courses offered through that course facilitator. The cost of all required materials is included in the course fee listed. No additional fees or costs will be required nor will the purchase of any additional items or services be required in order to complete any course. The total tuition or course fee(s) for home study courses do not need to be paid in advance but may be paid at the time the course is submitted to Corky Hyatt Seminars. For online courses, payment must be paid via credit card through C E Band at the time the course is begun. Course fees or tuition may be changed at the sole discretion of Corky Hyatt Seminars; however, once a course fee has been paid, that fee will not be changed for the ninety day period which the student is allowed to complete the course. If a student does not complete his or her course within the ninety day period, he or she must apply for an extension of time. A fee may be assessed at the sole discretion of Corky Hyatt Seminars for a time extension. No time extensions are allowed for online courses facilitated by C E Band.
  
  • Each of the continuing education courses offered via this website has been approved by the regulatory agency for which credit is offered, for example by the Kansas Real Estate Commission, the approving agency. These approving agencies have dictated the format of the course certificate which each student will receive upon completion of each course. The total number of clock hours approved for each course is listed in the course description. No other credit will be received by the student completing the course. This does not, however, forbid that student from submitting the completion certificate to any other real estate regulatory licensing body to receive credit from that body for the course. In fact, Corky Hyatt Seminars provides a "Course Description" document located at the bottom of this page which may assist any student in securing credit from any other state. However, Corky Hyatt Seminars does not guarantee or affirm that such credit can be received from any state licensing or regulatory commission or body except for the credit described in each course description. Please note that while these courses have been approved for continuing education credit or required post license course credit, completion of any or all of these courses does not guarantee employment with any real estate firm. While our mission is to assist each licensee student to enhance and improve his or her business, Corky Hyatt Seminars does not guarantee employment or independent contractor association with any real estate firm, board, or association.

  • Courses begun via home study from this web site or online through C E Band will not be suspended, cancelled, or postponed by Corky Hyatt Seminars or C E Band, except that neither Corky Hyatt Seminars nor C E Band can control access to either site via the internet. Inability to access any course or course materials over the internet because of a student's internet service provider, the course provider's internet service provider, or other internet disturbance is beyond the control of Corky Hyatt Seminars. In the event that course materials are not available via internet access for home study courses, the student may contact Corky Hyatt Seminars and make arrangements to pick up course materials or receive them via email, fax, or mail. Online courses facilitated by C E Band must be accessed online and are not available in any other format. It is the sole and complete responsibility of the student to begin the courses in a timely fashion, at least 90 days prior to their license renewal deadline, to be able to complete these courses and receive credit. No home study credit certification is guaranteed in the event a student completes his or her course and submits it for approval/grading less than seven days prior to his or her renewal deadline!
  
  • This ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT CONTRACT may be terminated by Corky Hyatt Seminars in the event that any student fails to complete any course within 90 days from the initiation of that course. (This 90 day requirement shall continue as a part of this agreement until such time as it is amended by the Kansas Real Estate Commission). No refunds will be offered in the event that any student fails to complete his or her course. In the event that a student is not able to complete his or her course due to any medical condition or other extenuating circumstance beyond the control of that student, he or she may apply for extension of his or her course period in writing sent to Corky Hyatt Seminars at the address or numbers listed here. However, Corky Hyatt Seminars does not guarantee or confirm that any such extension will be granted. It is in the sole discretion of Corky Hyatt Seminars whether or not such an extension shall be granted. Courses may be started at any date or time which any student desires. Students are solely responsible for completing the courses and delivering them to Corky Hyatt Seminars no less than seven days prior to their license renewal deadline to allow Corky Hyatt Seminars to review the course materials, confirm the course fee payment, and email the required certificate to the real estate commission. In the event that any student needs to receive "RUSH" handling of a course due to a shorter time period, he or she may call Corky Hyatt Seminars and may, at our sole discretion, receive expedited service.
  
  • CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY: Any student may cancel his or her home study course or courses at any time prior to completion of the course and issuance of a course certificate. For cancellation of online courses, see item (2) later in this section.
  o (1) Home Study Courses: Payment is not required for home study courses until the course is completed and submitted for credit to Corky Hyatt Seminars. No certificate will be issued to the student or to the real estate commission until payment in full has been received.
  o (2) On-Line Courses: If a student withdraws/cancels and submits a written request for a refund to C E Band within seven days of enrolling in the course and paying course fees, 90% of the course fee shall be refunded. No other refunds shall be available. All refunds requested in writing as described in this section shall be paid to the student by a credit to the credit card originally charged within fourteen days of receipt of the written refund request.
  o No course may be cancelled once the certificate is issued.
  By signing this Enrollment Agreement Contract, the student acknowledges that he or she has read this document and has received this document, which he or she may print from this website. In the event the student is unable to print the document, please request an emailed copy at corky@corkyhyatt.com.
